I have noticed a lot of discussion about event locations recently and have added a feature to the site! You can now select nearby events from the main menu:

And it will bring you to the nearby events layout, showing you events in your specified range! Note: In order to get this to work, you need to set your zip code in your profile.

Nice. It won't stop all complaints...nothing will! :>
