Yes it is back, hopefully for good. I talked with the developers of the software and they hammered out all the issues I was having with the program. Stay tuned, there may be a phone app coming soon!
Hey, i'm kinda new here but how long has this site been running? I figured there might be a good amount of people on this site, a chat would be a plus to have. What chat software was it? If you don't mind me asking about that kinda stuff.
The site has been running for a few years now. But this version of the site for only a year. The chat was some XML javascript cluster... It was SSO with our users though so they can login and not worry about typing a name or uploading a new picture.
Wasn't the chat sort of like multiple shout boxes running together? Would having just one shout box somewhere still slow everything down to the extent you were seeing before?
