Howdy AZ furs! The CDC is going to be relaxing mask mandates soon for fully vaccinated people and we are all chomping at the bit to get meet ups going again. Well, it's happening! Starting June 1st 2021, we will be allowing meets-ups to be posted on AZfurs.com and here in the chat. It's been a long time coming and we are all glad to see vaccinations still on the rise as more and more furs are becoming fully vaccinated.

What you need to know about posting events:

We do ask that everyone still exercises caution when having meet-ups and urge those who are not vaccinated to get their shot before attending any meets. Outdoor meets or outdoor activities will be allowed, and we are encouraging smaller gatherings of 10 people or less so that social distancing can be maintained. Hosts will be responsible for arranging, posting, and managing the meet. Hosts are allowed to require masks and vaccinated only attendees. It will be up to the Host to enforce these requirements.



Event Ideas:
Some great outdoor activities would be hikes or jogging groups, parks, First Friday walks, or visiting zoos. As things improve we will include indoor events (possibly July/August). We are NOT recommending restaurant meets at this time, especially those with fursuits as most businesses are under staffed and overworked. Also keep in mind outdoor temperatures. Be sure to keep hydrated, water is your friend!

AZfurs.com staff have final say on the approval of meets that are posted here. If your meet is rejected, you will get an email to let you know. The create meets page will be updated with some covid-19 options soon as well.
