What to bring? Close toed shoes or boots. They will provide axes and everything else.
Can I bring my own axe? Yes, but it has to be NATF approved and then approved by the staff.
Is it safe? Surprisingly very safe, we will have a coach there to instruct and teach for the first 30 mins how to properly throw.
Can I bring my own beer? Yes, they have a BYOB policy. Each participant may bring in up to 40 ounces of beer any day after 4:00 pm. Hard liquor is NOT permitted.
Can I wear a fursuit? Hard no there pal. People are throwing axes, you have limited vision... and management said so.
How about a tail? No.
You MUST BE 18 or older to throw, the venue will not let you throw if you are underage. You can still watch, hang out, and shoot the shit

Our yearly BBQ is here and its time to brush out those suits and play in the park. Feb 8th Kiwanis Park Ramadas 6-7 11am-4pm $10 per person (tickets will be available for purchase up to event date, CASH ONLY onsite.)
We will be providing all the food/drinks and will have our usual Charity items available and some games. Kiwanis park has a lake that you can fish (with a license) and paddle boat rentals. YOU GUYS REQUESTED to be down the hill this time, so its is a bit of a walk from the parking area down to the Ramadas, so plan accordingly for carrying bins. I will make sure we have a variety of meatless/GF items this time, if you have a recommendation let me know. We will open up the volunteer sheet after Christmas, if you volunteered for the last BBQ and do not wish to volunteer again I will be contacting people for their free ticket. Will probably do a badge art contest again since we had some amazing artists contribute last time. If you have any questions let me know!

Howdy! Arizona Furs is hosting a furry meet up at Glendale Glitters! This is a fursuit welcomed event! Plan is to walk around and enjoy the event together, meet new furs, and familiar faces.
WHAT IS GLENDALE GLITTERS?
Glendale’s holiday lighting event has become a family tradition across the Valley and Arizona. The stunning display of 1.6 million LED lights will illuminate sixteen blocks of Historic Downtown Glendale.
WHEN: December 6th (Friday)
TIME: 6pm to 10pm
MEET UP LOCATION: Corner of N 58th Dr and W Glenn Dr. (Right beside Bank of America Financial Center)
Expect there to be a lot of people and children. Food is sold in the area so keep that in mind when dealing with children while fursuiting. If you are bringing a fursuit, please bring a handler and water to stay hydrated. If you do not need a handler, please bring water.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?!
Event attendees will have the option and convenience of paying for preferred parking in the two downtown garages, located at City Hall, at 59th and Glenn Drive and Bank of America Building, at 58th and Glenn Drives. Free parking shuttles are available (4:30-10pm) November 29 and 30 from Glendale Community College, located at 59th and Olive avenues in the north parking lots. Access is from 59th Avenue, north of Olive Avenue.
PLEASE NOTE: Handicapped parking is available at no charge in the two parking garages, with either handicapped placard or license plate.
