I moved out to Arizona shortly after my father passed away (in September 2008), arriving sometime in November. What began two days later has been an awesome adventure of discovering furries exploring life alongside a mate, and learning more about myself.
When I first arrived, I was later told by the fur who introduced me to the local group (of that time period) that the meet-up members thought I was just some hobo off the street (long haired, goatee, wearing a camouflage jean jacket and carrying a backpack of utilitarian devices--incase of emergency). I was new to living in the city, but, no longer. Fast forward from 2008 to present, and life is what it is today: Worthwhile, fulfilling, and curiosity-causing. |
