It's that time of year for the big top to come to town! But we want to make sure you're truly ready for the fun. We will be having a pre-convention picnic Sunday, Sept. 18th, from 12pm to 5pm. We will be offering hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie patties, buns, condiments, and water. The rest is up to you! You may bring if you wish, Snacks, Drinks, Desserts and other sides or additional meat types. We will be having some party games and contests with prizes in between socializing and food. It will be at Pioneer Community Park. Ramadas 1-6 right next to the dog park. Hope to see all you fuzzy, scaly, feathered, and everything in between, to kick off the circus!!!

Painted Desert Fur Con is a convention in Arizona for the furry enthusiast, created for local and non-locals to get together for a weekend as a community to have fun and make lasting memories. Arizona Fur Con is a furry related convention designed to give the fans from anthropomorphic communities and costume enthusiasts alike a place of their own. For one weekend every year, to socialize, compete in masquerades and dance competitions, attend themed cafes, meet fandom guests, attend several panels and workshops, game in the gamers room, shop in the dealer’s den and so much more.

Its time to fight the weather gods and maybe make some friends. Its also February so lets add some Valentines Day friendship into the mix. Our yearly BBQ is here and its time to brush out those suits and play in the park.

We will be providing all the food/drinks and will have our usual Charity items available and some games. Kiwanis park has a lake that you can fish (with a license) and paddle boat rentals.

YOU GUYS REQUESTED to be down the hill this time, so its is a bit of a walk from the parking area down to the Ramadas, so plan accordingly for carrying bins. I will make sure we have a variety of meatless/GF items this time, if you have a recommendation let me know.

We will open up the volunteer sheet after Christmas, if you volunteered for the last BBQ and do not wish to volunteer again I will be contacting people for their free ticket. Will probably do a badge art contest again since we had some amazing artists contribute last time.
