      I am using a free to use line art reference and redrawing sections and adding to it. In order to fit what I want, I tend to start this way to easily I am using a free to use line art reference and redrawing sections and adding to it. In order to fit what I want, I tend to start this way to easily flesh out ideas colors and patterns before going and doing a full draw from scratch, as I can work on design aspects like color that will change shape and design down the road. So I don't have to re draw as much later in the design process.  More ...
