This is a +18 event, the venue will not let you throw if you are underage. You can still watch.

Now that's out of the way... Alright big shoots, we are putting together an axe throwing meetup, pretty simple.

When is it? June 20th @ 5pm

Where is it? 3105 S Fair Ln, Tempe, AZ 85282

How much does it cost? $20 a person per hour, we plan to be there for 2-3 hours. *If we can secure a group of +6 a few days before it will be $35 a person for 2.5 hours*

What to bring? Close toed shoes or boots. They will provide axes and everything else. Do not bring your own axes, please.

Is it safe? Surprisingly very safe, we will have a coach there to instruct and teach for the first 30 mins how to properly throw.

Can I bring my own beer? Yes, they have a BYOB policy.  Each participant may bring in up to 40 ounces of beer any day after 4:00 pm. Hard liquor is NOT permitted.

Can I wear a fursuit? Hard no there pal. People are throwing axes, you have limited vision... and management said so.

How about a tail? No.

Just bring yourself, in comfortable clothes and close toed shoes.

Arizona Fur con was founded in 2013 with the purpose of giving the southwestern chapter of the furry fandom a place to meet, socialize and compete in contests and games with other members of the furry fandom. It is now held annually in the fall and continues to grow every year.
